    Long before he got behind the wheel of The Cash Cab -Ben Bailey left his home in a small town in New Jersey and headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of a career in show business. 6 weeks later he found himself onstage at The Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip and right away that he had found his calling. Shortly thereafter Bailey returned to the East Coast and started hanging out at the comedy Clubs in New York City. He has starred in 2 specials for Comedy Central, his most recent- "Road Rage and Accidental Ornithology" has been a huge hit on Netflix for the last few Years. (there is a new special due out in the Spring). It seemed that Bailey's star was on the rise. and then along came "Cash Cab." Ben drove the Smash Hit series for over 550 episodes, and 6 Daytime Emmy Awards and remains at the top of his game in stand up comedy! Don't miss him at the Historic Everett Theatre!

  1. Kwame Onwuachi keynote and cooking demonstration

    Kwame Onwuachi, a young star in the food world, will speak about his debut memoir, “Notes from a Young Black Chef,” the Everett Public Library's One Everett One Book 2023 selection, on Friday, February 24, at 7 p.m. at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. Onwuachi’s talk will include a cooking demonstration. This event is free, and tickets are not required. Artisans PNW will have copies of the book for purchase at the event, and Onwuachi will be available for book signing after his presentation. We encourage you to read Onwuachi's book and try his recipes at home. Copies are available for checkout and free giveaway copies are available while supplies last at both Everett Public Library locations: Main Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave Evergreen Branch, 9512 Evergreen Way
