We've got a ho-ho-whole bunch of holiday happenings in Everett this season to help you and your family celebrate all season long.

Schack Art Center's 2022 Holiday Exhibition 

Nov. 23 - Jan. 7
Artist Reception: December 3 from 2 - 5 p.m.

Shop for unique gifts at the Schack's annual Holiday Art Exhibition, including a large mix of regional glass, ceramic, wood, and jewelry artists. While you’re there, enjoy the Northwest Pastel Society’s member show!

Everett Philharmonic's Music for the Imagination

Nov. 27
3 p.m.  

Join the Everett Philharmonic Orchestra for a fun and festive musical event for the whole family! Music for the Imagination is directed by Dr. Paul Elliott Cobbs and features an assortment of astounding classics sure to get you in the festive holiday mood. This special performance will be narrated by Everett's mayor, Cassie Franklin. Get tickets here

Village Theatre KIDSTAGE Sing it Forward Fundraising Concert

Feeling festive and generous? Catch the one-night-only, Sing It Forward event. Join Village Theatre supporters and families to celebrate and uplift KIDSTAGE students at this exceptional fundraising event. Seattle Mandolin Orchestra: In Concert at the Everett Public Library

2 - 3 p.m. 

Join the Seattle Mandolin Orchestra in the Main Library reading room for a Wintertide concert! The orchestra features over 20 players, who bring together a vast library of music knowledge from more than 50 years of playing together. This year's program will include some classic favorites as well as the debut of several new arrangements, with varied music from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. 

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra's Winter Concert 

Dec. 3
3 - 6 p.m. 

Catch Pacifica Chamber Orchestra's Winter Concert at Cascade View Presbyterian Church pm Saturday, Dec. 3 from 3 - 6 p.m. The show features two young artists who will perform their piano works with the orchestra. Learn more here.

Knitting Night

5 - 7 p.m. 

Get your Wintertide knit on with Great Yarns! Bring your friends and family to knit hats ahead of the winter season! Great Yarns will have a representative and equipment to help guide you in creating your own hats! More info here.

Everett Mall Holiday Music Series 

Dec. 8 and 22
4 - 6 p.m. 

Jolly on over to Everett Mall to listen to holiday jingles from Sean Morse.

Sean Morse has been performing in the Seattle area since relocating from Denver in 2011. He is a regular contributor to the Bushwick Book Club Seattle and loves taking inspiration from literature in his songwriting. With a focus on the exploration of the internal lives of his characters, Sean delivers dynamism through stunning vocals and driving guitar, blending folk, blues, and jazz textures to serve the moment. Sean is no stranger to stages from house concerts and dance halls. More info here.

The Dance School Presents: The Nutcracker

This production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker features young students from Everett's prestigious dance school. Support this amazing non-profit and fill up on holiday cheer. Tickets are just $15; children 6 and under are free. More info here.

Olympic Ballet Presents: The Nutcracker

Multiple showings at Everett Performing Arts Center 

Olympic Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker is widely anticipated each year, and we are thrilled to have them back during Wintertide. Catch this favorite holiday tradition featuring dazzling snowflakes, a dramatic battle, waltzing flowers, Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, and much more!

Choreographed by Olympic Ballet's artistic directors Oleg Gorboulev and Mara Vinson, this classic production of The Nutcracker features sets designed by Jeanne Franz, Phillip Lineau, and Ruth Gilmore. Get tickets here.

The Schack's Wintertide Teen Night 

Dec. 15
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Teens will enjoy creating their own unique "Wintertide" themed art projects in the Schack Art Studios. Participants will explore different art techniques, materials, and projects with local teaching artists Amie Zimmerman: Funko 3D Display Artist, and Angie Louthan: Artist, Art Instructor, and Transformational Life Coach. All supplies provided. This event is co-sponsored by the City of Everett's cultural arts department.  Register here.

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas at AOTW

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis has been one of America’s favorite holiday traditions for over 35 years. You know it when you hear it and it conjures up all the holiday feels of growing up in the 90s. This season's program celebrates the group’s recent anniversary of 35 years since the first Christmas album and includes dazzling multimedia effects performed in an intimate setting. Experience the magic as the spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller.  Get tickets here.

Navy Band Northwest's Home for the Holidays Concert

6 p.m. 

Navy Band NW returns to the Everett Performing Arts Center for a free holiday performance on December 16th, 2022. No tickets are necessary as this free performance is sponsored by the City of Everett's cultural arts department. Happy holidays!

The Journeys’ Annual Christmas Concert

Dec. 17
2 p.m. 

Celebrate the holidays with the traditional sounds of Christmas with music featuring Bronn Journey and his harp. Bronn brings a folksy style with spontaneity to an instrument commonly thought of as classical. Along with Bronn will be a small ensemble and special guests  Breath of Fire. Get your tickets here.

Look, Learn, & Create: Wintertide Solstice Luminaries

Dec. 17

The Schack and Everett Public library team up for tours and art projects for the community to enjoy. Get inspired with a tour at the Schack Art Center, and then head on over to the Main Library and use that inspiration to make a Solstice Luminary to light up the dark winter months!

The Schack's offering docent-led tours of their 2022 Holiday Exhibition featuring the Northwest Pastel Society  at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, or 12:30.

To make a luminary, sign up for a spot here (registration opens on Nov. 19). Two sessions will be offered but space is limited. This program is geared toward adults, but youth 12 and over may join in with a participating adult. 

Village Theatre’s Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella

Village Theatre welcomes back the pageantry and magic of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, last seen on the Village Theatre stage in 1985. This time around, they're debuting a version inspired by the 1997 television adaptation that featured Whitney Houston and Brandy. The show will feature a diverse cast, amazing costumes, and some real (and literal) Village Theatre magic in this wonderfully inspired telling of this timeless story perfect for the whole family!
